PRAYER

Father God, thank you again for another day to live an abundant life. Lord, give strength to those that are oppressed by the feelings of loneliness. Free them to a mindset of living an abundant life. Show them how to meet others that are good and kind. Awaken their spirits to recognize deceitful people and strengthen them to call upon you to avoid snares of manipulative individuals. Amen

Father God, thank you for this day. Guide us as we do day to day business. Granting us the ability not to fall prey to the self promoting schemes of others. Amen

It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

PRAYER

Lord, I pray for every relationship to flourish within healthy boundaries. And should a person find themselves in a toxic environment, I ask that you uncover the root of the discord and show each individual the roles they play concerning the situation. Amen

“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
Jeremiah 29:7

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, please comfort the hearts of those that feel like they are in exile, assuring them they aren’t alone because of your presence. Helping them always to flourish wherever home is. Amen

“I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.”
Ephesians 3:16-17

Father God, Paul prayed that you strengthen the Ephesians with power through the Holy Spirit to reach their innermost being, so that Christ would dwell in their hearts through faith. I ask the same for the world in which we now know. It’s clear to see we need to hear from you as faith in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit fades. As a result, hopelessness is on the rise. I pray your spirit quickens souls to believe in the true and living God. We need you, Lord. Amen

When my children were young I would tell them why people were good and or bad for them before I removed the toxic person from their life. I had no clue I was teaching and laying the foundation for them in becoming wise when it came to choosing their companions. I only knew it was the right thing to do, especially since I loved them and wanted the best for them.

Strengthening my beliefs when teaching my kids about healthy relationships was an episode on Focus On The Family. A young mother such as myself prayed for her children’s future spouses. From her thoughts it appears she nor I knew what we were truly asking God. Our prayers were lightyears in front of our requests. Hindsight is twenty twenty: In order for our children to pick excellent mates for themselves they had to become wise to relationships.

PRAYER

Lord always protect me and my descendants from harm with your wise counselors. Amen

A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24

A couple of months back a friend took over her daughter’s broken relationship. It became [to me] a Facebook tell all shame a thon. It was done to shame the cheating boyfriend and restore the jilted daughter’s honor. Unfortunately, mom and child became victims of bad advice; mainly, because those that care for them wanted the best for them. Sadly, we live in a time where we avoid pain in an effort to feel wanted. And we rob the soul of searching and seeking greater understanding of our existence.

PRAYER

Father God, thank you for another day, please bless all who read this simple prayer with at least one friend that is faithful to their relationship and be a beacon of your truth. Amen

PRAYER

Father God, thank you for your grace and mercy. Today we ask that you allow your people to see the hope you’ve promised for dark days. Amen

Prayer Request:

Lord, I’m praying for Gina and her family. Yesterday her uncle died from COVID. His death has impacted the family with grief and bewilderment. Bring the light of hope, understanding and comfort to this family. Amen

Generational Prayer For Spiritual Blessings

When I was in seminary we were taught a prayer that would aid us when we could not pray. Yesterday, I published that prayer: “Lord help until you can help.” I added others to that prayer because I knew I wasn’t alone with struggling in whatever. Today is a new day and God’s mercy has given my soul peace once again.

“Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.”

Deuteronomy 7:9

PRAYER

Father God, I’m so glad you’re a faithful God. It was your faithfulness that reminded my soul that had fallen into stagnation a prayer I’d forgotten decades ago. Prayer keeps us linked to you but our words communicate our desires for life and builds a strong bond between the creator and creation. And today I ask for generational favor for me and my descendants. Among my requests is that my children, their children and so forth and so on discover and worship you the true and living God for all the days of our lives. Amen

Prayer

Father God, I’ve been struggling with producing words to say to you and you alone. I’m not sure what is happening but I ask that you help me and other that are struggling like me until you can help. Amen
