The Prayer’s of Black Women

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in they sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

For different reasons people will indirectly/directly involve you in their insanity. And! As long as you’re sitting on the sidelines you can opt to get off the rollercoaster of madness. Hopefully before it’s too late. Because when you start playing their game! With their rules! And! With their agenda you lose everything that makes life a wonderful journey, self-worth. Let’s Pray!

PRAYER

Father God, thank you for another day. Trouble surrounds me. Keep my soul at peace during the storm and my eyes on Christ. Pepper my words with your strength and your love when I speak. Give my heart a song to sing and let my feet dance and rejoice in your goodness. Amen

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

It’s very important that we nurture our children, spouses, friends, family and enemies with loving words. Yes! Believe it or not, your enemies deserve kind words, too!

Always remember one very harmless word can be catastrophic to another individual. We should be quick to listen and slow to respond to others. Our words are water and food for the soul. To be honest, words are the essence of life. We can use them to build or destroy oneself. Or say them to others for many reasons. However, it’s when our words are deliberately used to destroy another that becomes unpleasant to God. Let’s Pray!

PRAYER

Father God, thank you for giving me the ability to speak, think and respond. Give me words to say to others today and everyday. Guard my feelings of self-worth when someone tries to hurt me by saying mean and or evil things. Let me see the aggressor dressed down to their naked souls. Only for me to gain insight of their pain and make the encounter an opportunity for them to see you. For after all, I’m your ambassador. Amen

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:14 ESV

Sometimes people find their thoughts and words changing when facing difficult moments. It’s during those times words can become mean and nasty. And as a result people find themselves plotting how to protect themselves from evil with evil. Let’s just say that’s not good. I remembered a Gunsmoke episode about an evil town. What led to an old man saying, “evil eats itself up” was the most important message. And! It’s true! Evil always consumes evil. So never allow anyone to goat you into doing something mean and nasty that you’ll regret later. Let’s pray!

PRAYER:

Father God, ‘Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.’ Lord please become a visible rock during turbulent times and a redeemer when thoughts and words aren’t savory. Amen

And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. Luke 6:31

I’ve started a new blog series titled “Reflections of A Personal Representative.” I’m writing to organize my thoughts. The new series isn’t just about settling my mother’s estate but I need to relearn how to live my own life.

I’ve been so engross with living for my mom that I crippled the way I lived. And in doing such I snuffed out the flames of hope for my future and the future of my children. With that said, let us pray.

PRAYER: Father God, thank you for this day and everyday. It’s with great joy we invite you into our lives. We ask that you order our steps. Let your many blessings remind us of your favor. We pray peace and prosperity for family, friends, loved ones and enemies. Amen
