Balance scale on a running track surrounded by diverse athletes

Hey y’all! Moving right along through our look at the state propositions. Next up on my desk is Proposition 134, which addresses male and female participation in school sports. For me, this is a hard, definite YES.

Now, let me put my truth out there on this matter, because in today’s political climate, people love to jump to conclusions and claim you feel this way out of hate. Let’s set the record straight: I do not hate anyone. In fact, I follow so many wonderful gay creators on YouTube—like Todd and Tyler, A Gardener In Love, and Visit My Garden. I couldn’t care less about a person’s sexual choices or how they live their life.

But when it comes to athletics, this is a total no-brainer rooted strictly in science.

Let’s get real—no matter what the current political trends say, men are usually stronger than females, because that is exactly how we were biologically designed to be. Men and women have natural, biological differences in bone density, muscle mass, and lung capacity that develop during puberty. Those structural differences create an undeniable physical advantage in competitive sports.

If we don’t protect the boundaries of female sports, we completely destroy the level playing field that girls and women have fought for decades to secure. This isn’t about being mean or excluding anyone; it is about basic fairness, common-sense biology, and protecting the competitive integrity of girls’ sports.

Look past the emotional campaign ad commercials, remember the baseline facts of science, and do your homework!
