Hello from Colorado, where the peaks are tall, and my perspective is sharpening by the hour! Today is Wednesday, June 17, 2026, and my faith is securely anchored in Christ Jesus! Thank you for coming back to the blog as we continue this critical conversation.
When you look at the history of injustice, it is easy to see why the human heart gets caught in a loop of wanting payback. If someone hurts you, the flesh demands that they hurt just as bad. But the problem with carnal revenge is that it never actually heals the wound; it just keeps you permanently chained to the person who hurt you.
The Hebrew Israelite movement focuses heavily on a future where the tables turn and modern-day oppressors are brought low. But as I study the Word of God, I see a completely different definition of victory. God doesn’t offer us a messy, human revenge fantasy—He offers us true, spiritual restoration.
Look at what the Gospel does to our identity. It doesn’t just pull us out of the valley of oppression to put us on a mountain of pride. It completely erases the old worldly labels that kept us divided in the first place.
In Christ, there is no master or slave, no superior or inferior race. True restoration means that what was stolen from us during the dark chapters of history—our dignity, our value, and our peace—is handed back to us in full by the Creator of the universe. We don’t need to see anyone else in chains to know that our own chains have been completely broken.
The Takeaway for Us
- The Limit of Revenge: One recognizes that seeking a carnal reversal of fortune keeps your mind trapped in the very system of oppression you are trying to escape.
- The Beauty of Restoration: One sees that God’s justice is about making things whole. He restores our soul, our joy, and our divine value without needing a human victim to make it valid.
- The New Creation Identity: A believer learns that the Cross does not create a new elite class to rule over others. It creates a brand-new humanity where Christ is all and in all.
Community Challenge
Are you waiting for the world to apologize or change before you allow yourself to feel whole? This week, I challenge you to take your eyes off the people who caused the pain and lock your eyes on the One who provides the healing. Can you let Christ restore your sense of royalty today without needing a future earthly payback to make it real?
Scripture & Prayer
- Scripture: “Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.” — Colossians 3:11 (KJV)
- Prayer: Father, we thank You that Your restoration is complete and perfect. Deliver us from the small-minded trap of wishing for carnal revenge. We ask that You fill the empty spaces left by historical trauma with the overwhelming reality of Your love. Let our hearts find perfect peace in knowing that our value is fully secured in Christ, completely independent of this world’s systems. Amen.
The Spiritual Seal
Remember: True freedom doesn’t require a master’s whip or an earthly throne. Your dignity was completely restored the moment you were adopted into the family of God. You don’t need payback when you have perfection.
See you tomorrow (Thursday)!
