Hello from Colorado, where the peaks are tall, and my perspective is finally settling into a deep, quiet truth! Today is Thursday, June 11, 2026, and my faith is securely anchored in Christ Jesus! I’m so glad you’ve joined me today as we bring our second week on this topic to a close.
Have you ever noticed the volume level of the Hebrew Israelite movement? If you see them on street corners, they are shouting through megaphones. If you see them online, the videos are filled with flashing lights, aggressive text, and high-pressure debates. There is a constant, underlying spirit of anger, defense, and noise.
When I look at that, all I can feel is a profound sense of exhaustion. It takes a massive amount of human energy to constantly defend a position that common sense rejects.
Then, I look at Jesus.
Jesus didn’t stand on the street corners screaming at people to look at His DNA receipts to prove He was important. He didn’t build an identity based on making other people feel small. Instead, He looked at a tired, heavily burdened world and whispered, “Come unto me… and I will give you rest.”
That is the ultimate contrast. Fringe doctrines give you a checklist of arguments, genealogies, and anger. But Christ gives you rest. When you realize that your worth was bought, paid for, and permanently settled on the Cross, you can finally turn off the megaphones. You don’t have to argue for your royalty anymore because you are already a child of the King.
The Takeaway for Us
- The Noise of Insecurity: One recognizes that the louder and more aggressive a religious movement is, the more it is usually trying to overcompensate for a lack of foundational truth.
- The Gift of Stillness: One sees that true identity in Christ produces quiet confidence, not loud confrontation. You don’t need to fight for a seat at the table when Jesus has already pulled out a chair for you.
- Trading the Burden for Grace: A believer learns that any theology that leaves you feeling angry, exhausted, and combative is a burden of man, not the easy yoke of Jesus.
Community Challenge
Are you tired of the shouting? This week, I challenge you to log off the debate videos and step away from the high-pressure arguments. Take a few minutes to sit in complete silence with God. Ask Him to help you drop the heavy burden of trying to “prove” who you are, and allow yourself to simply rest in Who He is.
Scripture & Prayer
- Scripture: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” — Matthew 11:28-29 (KJV)
- Prayer: Father, we live in a world that is so incredibly noisy, filled with voices telling us we have to prove our worth, our lineage, and our importance. We repent for letting the noise disturb our peace. We step away from the arguments today and we run to You for rest. Quiet our minds, steady our hearts, and let us sleep peacefully knowing our identity is perfectly safe in Your hands. Amen.
The Spiritual Seal
Remember: Truth doesn’t need to scream to be real. You can drop the megaphones and put down the defense scripts. Your identity isn’t a battle you have to win; it is a rest you have already inherited.
See you tomorrow (Friday)!
