You may have had unfair things happen to you, but the depth of your pain is an indication of the height of your future.

Joel Osteen

Yesterday, I prescribed during this clutter removing journey 15 minutes for meltdowns once a day, taken as needed. Why? Again, clutter is a sign of indecisions. Indecision leads to procrastination. Procrastination is the beginning and the end to some people living life in dark holes. Not me! I remember my beautiful life before spending the last seven or so years licking and tending the spiritual wounds of others, as my life fell deeply into despair. Inviably I too sustain spiritual wounds. But! My wounds went unattended because the circle of people I once traveled knew not how to care for them. In a nutshell, “life happened” and so did clutter. And! If I am to resume the life I once knew as a better person I must cry over my losses, give my burdens to God and allow Him to heal my wounded soul. For after all, it is He that controls the Universe. Let’s pray!

Father God, heal my wounded soul and the souls that are also wounded and reading this prayer. Amen

I’m Annette

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.

This is a space for the ‘unspoken’ stories. As a Black woman who has journeyed through childhood trauma and family alienation to find healing in God’s grace, I know what it’s like to feel lost in the shadows.

But I also know the light on the other side. Today, my life is a testimony of prayer, the joy of a second chance in marriage, and the strength of a heart reclaimed by faith. Whether you are healing from the past, navigating a diverse family, or deepening your walk with God—you are not alone. Let’s walk this path together.
