Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that but the really great make you feel that you too can become great. When you are seeking to bring big plans to fruition it is important with whom you regularly associate. Hang out with friends who are like-minded and who are also designing purpose-filled lives. Similarly be that kind of a friend for your friends. ~ Mark Twain
Small minded people, are similar to those who are shortsighted. They are incapable of seeing far beyond themselves. When you have a long-term, or large idea, it is best to remain in the presence of other like-minded people. Shortsighted and small minded people, they will say everything to stop you from moving forward. Since they cannot grasp your perspective, they will pass off their energy unto you, saying your dreams are unattainable.
So true! That’s why I quickly warn people I don’t like for others to paint on my canvas. 🙂
