“The Prayers of Black Women” was started nearly a decade ago. Today, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, the title changed to Prayers of a Woman. As I grew in life experiences and faith I realized I would be offended by my previous titles. The change came after years of self reflection, self sacrifices, the death of my mom, the persecution of being an executor of an estate and realizing God needed me to be my best. And my best work in his vineyard should exclude my race. Faith has nothing to do with race. Serving God is a spiritual awakening to His existence and His Deity. Praying is a form of communication to something greater than oneself. It gives an individual the option to express gratitude and or voice displeasures for all things that affect us daily.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
