The Prayer’s of Black Women

My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.

Today is a great day for an excellent day! Honestly! Everyday is a great day for an excellent day! And don’t let anyone tell you differently through words and or actions. Always celebrate life, your life. Your value is more precious than silver or gold and it should never be devalued.

I apologize for the quick prayer yesterday. I was trying to gather information for a friend concerning bed bugs, answer emails and organize workers. My plate was full and running over! But! I’m focused today. And! I’m ready to give God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit high praise! Let’s Pray!

PRAYER:

Lord thank you for asking the Heavenly Father to give us protection from the prince of this world. Your request makes me fall deeper in love with you. It showed and shows you thought about me, little ole’ me, long before I became a twinkle in my parents eyes. You knew the moment I took my first breath I would be a target and the gift of life could be unbearable at times. It’s because of your prayer and your never ending love I find peace in the midst of life’s storms. Thank you for everything. Amen

15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

John 17:15-17 NIV

Father God, thank you for the blood of the lamb. It purifies, anoints and sanctify your children and those that follow the redeemer. We praise you for the gift that keeps on giving. Amen

Jesus answered, ‘Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.’

John 4:13-14

Wow! As I read this passage I think about my current situation and a memory that has fallen to the back of my mind because of daily living. The memory is one of few I have of my dad.

Naw! My dad didn’t die when I was a child. He died about ten or so years ago. He was so verbally abusive. Poor guy! He had not a clue that as an adult I limited the time I spent with him because his words were poison to my soul. His abuse was done out of love and desire for me to achieve. However, enough said about my dad and his harsh words. Well anywho . . .

One morning my mom asked my dad to go to 7-Eleven and get my brother an ICEE. An ICEE was a flavored frozen beverage that was either blue or red back in my day. My mom wanted to put a tasty drink in the fridge. So, when my brother woke he would find his treat as she’d “promised.” My dad . . . Lord, have mercy! My dad began to spout his cock-eyed wisdom about children learning to deal with disappointments. But! My mom wasn’t having it! She went to the convenience store and purchased the frozen treat herself! Let’s pray!

PRAYER:

Father God, thank you again for another day. Thank you for your kept promise to be everlasting water. That whoever shall drink your water will never thirst again. It’s a source for navigating through life. It cuts through rocky situations and pulls us out of muddy environments. It helps all who believe arrive safely to appointed and sometimes unknown destinations. Therefore, thank you for just being the loveable you, the almighty God that keeps His word! Amen

Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength- carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.

During the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus took time to give His followers words of encouragement concerning worry. He told them not to worry about tomorrow for it would take care of itself. He emphasized that each day will have their own problems. And! Boy! He was spot on! As why I love Corrie ten Boom’s quote. She added more wisdom to words that were peppered with inspiration for living a productive life. Let’s pray.

PRAYER: Father God, thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ. My savior and redeemer. I believe had I been the only person that need deliverance He would have died for me only. So, again, thank you for your only begotten Son.

Lord, I speak your peace to hearts and minds that are fearful and worried. Your peace surpasses all peace that humankind create to free souls from worry. Amen

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins

Matthew 6:14-15

Life isn’t always fair and most days won’t be sunny. Yet, you can learn to appreciate the partial cloudy days, rainy days and violent storms once you learn the art of forgiveness. Forgiveness teaches the soul that despite the gloom that comes with bad days you can move forwards. So, always be quick to forgive and ready to move forwards with giving yourself a peace of mind. Let us pray.

PRAYER:

Father God, thank you for this day we’ve never seen before. It’s precious. Let your love guide our thoughts to making this our best day. Amen

And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. Luke 6:31

I’ve started a new blog series titled “Reflections of A Personal Representative.” I’m writing to organize my thoughts. The new series isn’t just about settling my mother’s estate but I need to relearn how to live my own life.

I’ve been so engross with living for my mom that I crippled the way I lived. And in doing such I snuffed out the flames of hope for my future and the future of my children. With that said, let us pray.

PRAYER: Father God, thank you for this day and everyday. It’s with great joy we invite you into our lives. We ask that you order our steps. Let your many blessings remind us of your favor. We pray peace and prosperity for family, friends, loved ones and enemies. Amen

Heavenly Father thank you for this day we have never seen before.  Father God it’s Thursday!  Most people will wake up and rush into their day without prayer or meditation.  Lord, can you please guide them by focusing their rush souls.  Can you please give them your joy.  Today, Lord, someone among them will be given a life’s dilemma.  Can you please give them your insight by turning on their spiritual lights so they can see how to handle the situation.  Amen
