Saturday Funnies: Steve Harvey’s Dad Monster Makeover Gone Wrong

This is the saddest but cutest video of a dad trying to fit in with family fun!  It really does make you say, “Awh.  Poor kids.  Poor dad.”

Granny’s Wisdom: Children are Precious Gifts

Natisha Hillard

Yesterday an article about a child molestation case came across my Facebook feed.  I would like to write that the case is and was an isolated situation, but I cannot write such because sexual crimes against children are on the rise.  And sadly the victim in this particular case was 4 months old when she became sexually exploited. Sickening!  Right!

What logical adult would have sex with an infant?  What rational human-being would want to have sex with children?  And the most important question:  What type of mother would give her permission for her child or children to be sexually used?

Anyone that would consider having sex and have had sex with a child has fallen away from the moral blueprints of humanity.  Because crimes against defenseless people are horrible!  But crimes against children are shamefully horrific!

And when a mother is negligent in protecting her young it goes against the laws of nature.  Maternal instincts should always trump foolish thoughts!  Maternal instincts should be so strong that women act like civilized “mama bears” when they feel their young being threaten.

And this ‘mama bear’ finds the story of Natisha Hillard‘s inconceivable actions as a woman and mother baffling!

Who is Natisha Hillard?  Too me, she’s a beautiful young black female with a pretty name that has made one of the worst mistakes any woman and or mother can make (outside of killing her young).  Her story is disturbing and very bone chilling.  She sold her infant daughter to a man who has a nefarious appetite for infants and child pornography.

She met the creep online!  And from the sounds of things she didn’t hesitate in selling him her infant for five hundred dollars.  And worse yet, she stood by and watch the crime take place!  To me her actions states, “She was also sexually stimulated by watching a child, her child, being molested!”

It’s a sad day for humanity each time people such as Natisha loses touch with what it means to be human.

Sexual crimes against infants should be punishable by death.  I do believe in the state of Louisiana sexual exploitation of a minor 12 years old and younger carries a mandatory death penalty.  And for sex offenders that do not live in Louisiana to ask the courts for leniency is asinine!  Especially since they are not facing death!

Words of wisdom from an older woman to younger women:

Children are irreplaceable!  The quality of life is priceless!  And to take either or both for granted is wrong.

It has been years since I have used the word agapae.  But I wanted to use it in a short message to a dear friend.  Since I knew I had forgotten how to spell the word I decided to Google it.  I typed the following within the Google search bar:  agodbae, agodba, agotbae and etc.  Yet, nothing I spelled gave me the correct spelling for the word I so dearly wanted to use.  I was becoming frustrated.  I even thought maybe I had learned a word that did not exist.

Let’s just say it took me forever to find the correct spelling of agape, but, nevertheless, I found it!  And I used it!  Hip hip hooray!

Meanings:

1.  the love of God or Christ for humankind.

3.  unselfish love of one person for another without sexual implications; brotherly love.

Every Dog With Its Eyes Closed Ain’t Sleep

As I lay in bed this morning I began to ponder over a stressful decision.  Sorrowfully my current circumstance keeps me in thought.

My focus was and is on the key-players that are taking advantage of a person I have come to love and respect.  I thought about my role, or the lack thereof, in all the confusion.  Did I take the high road?  Or did I take the easy road?  Whatever road I took it left a loved one in the midst of a pack of deceitful, vicious and greedy wolves.

  • Each is spiritually tearing apart this poor person.
  • Each has mentally and emotionally taken advantage of this person because of health challenges.
  • Each has set their attention to take the mountain from a person that never wanted to own the mountain.
  • Each has shown their truest color; and, once again, the problem has resurfaced in my life; and things are worse than before.

It’s funny how people will devour another if they think the possibility to get something for nothing has become available.  Furthermore, it’s hilariously sad to watch them destroy people they pretend are allies.  And, moreover, these people are so stupid that they don’t even realize their evil actions are as transparent as them.  They take everyone to be fools as they fail to realize “Every dog with its eyes closed ain’t sleep.”

Heads Up: For You Garage Sale Goer’s

I do not knock the choices of others’ when it comes to legally obtaining items of want.  However, I have never been a person for second-hand products from garage sales or thrift stores (unless the item of interest is for investment purposes).  But I do have family, friends, and loved ones that frequent shops like:  Goodwill and the Ark; and sometimes a few of them will go dumpster-diving or even to auctions.   But for me, I decided as long ago as a child that I would never shop second-hand stores, garage sales, and such for personal items once I became an adult.  Yet I must confess I have taken, when I was a young single mother, personal items from people I knew.

Well, any-who, I stumbled across an article about the do’s and don’ts of purchasing garage sale items.  I found the information interesting; therefore, I am sharing it with those of you that enjoy going to garage sales and such.  The article talks about “21 Things You Should Never Buy at Garage Sales.”  As stated earlier, “I do not knock the choices of other’s when it comes to legally obtaining items of want.”  But I want to make sure those of you that enjoy purchasing items for a fraction of the cost stay safe, health wise and environment wise.  Because flesh-eating diseases and bug and rodent infestation are no joke!

The Prayers of Black Women: Low Self-Esteem Prayer

Lord for the past couple of weeks I have notice people searching for prayers on low self-esteem.  So today Lord I bring those that suffer from lack of confidence to you.  Lord I am asking you to help them overcome whatever stole their self-assurance.  Lord I’m asking you to gently speak in their ear that if they had been the only person in the world, you would have come from Heaven and saved them alone.  Lord, I’m praying today that they understand they are special and you love them much more than any mortal man.  I’m asking Lord that you wrap your loving spiritual arms around them.  Allow their wounded souls to nestle in your spiritual being and take comfort in your ability to heal.  I’m asking Lord that you give them hope by affirming them as only you can.  I’m asking Lord that you give them a spirit to forgive the person or persons that have hurt them as they move on with life.

Lord please help them to understand you want us to have good thoughts, and that includes how we feel about ourselves.  For Psalm 19:14 states:

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

And Lord thank you for loving me.

Your daughter,
Annette
